Jesus identifies John the Baptist as a great prophet whose life and ministry pointed entirely to Christ. True greatness in God’s kingdom is found in humility: decreasing so that Jesus may increase. Believers are called to repent of pride and sin, keep their eyes fixed on Christ, and use every part of life to direct others toward Him.
