In Luke 4:38–44, Jesus reveals the reality of the Kingdom of God. He rebukes a high fever, heals the sick one by one, and silences demons who know who He is. His authority shows a battle between two kingdoms: the Kingdom of God and the dominion of darkness.
Jesus says He was sent to preach the good news of the Kingdom, and that message continues through Acts as the risen King gathers citizens who repent, believe, and live under His rule.
The King pursued us first. The question is whether we will enter His Kingdom like a child and then live as faithful participants in His mission.
