Jesus proclaims the good news of the kingdom of God, and Luke shows that His kingdom is marked by grace, healing, devotion, and service. In Luke 8, women who had been delivered and healed followed Jesus and supported His ministry. Their lives point to the deeper work of Christ: calling sinners from death to life, bringing the lost near, and forming people who gladly give themselves in service to Him.
